Announcement: New Feature Release — “Color from Rough Sketch”
Thank you for using copainter. We’ve released a new feature, “Color from Rough Sketch,” which lets you easily generate full-color illustrations by uploading a rough sketch and entering a prompt.
Thank you as always for using copainter.
Today, we released a new feature: “Color from Rough Sketch.”
Simply upload a rough sketch and enter a prompt to easily generate a full-color illustration.
How to Use “Color from Rough Sketch”
1) Upload a rough sketch
Draw a simple rough sketch of the illustration you want.

2) Enter a prompt
Enter a prompt like the one below.
In this example, we used the “Automatically detect a prompt from the image” button:
solo, long hair, looking at viewer, white background, dress, hair between eyes, standing, full body, parted lips, dress, floating hair, standing on one leg
3) Adjust the fidelity setting
There are three options: Low / Medium / High.
In this sample, we selected High.
4) Done
A color illustration is generated!

How Fidelity Changes the Result
The fidelity option you choose before generating can significantly affect the output.
Below are examples using the same rough sketch, changing only the fidelity setting:
- Low fidelity: The character’s pose and position change significantly.
- fidelity: Closer to the input than Low, but the pose still changes.

- High fidelity: Much more faithful to the original rough sketch compared to the other two.

Depending on whether you want the result to closely follow your rough sketch or allow larger changes, adjust the fidelity setting to match your purpose.
With this release, copainter becomes even more convenient to use.
We hope you enjoy trying out this helpful new feature!
